1. What is "Folio" and who is it for?
This game mode is special for events, schools, or large groups.
The
"Folio" (e.g. A1B2) is a unique code generated by the event organizer.
Sharing it allows EVERYONE to enter the same virtual room.
2. Live Competition
By entering the same Folio code, you connect in real-time with other people. You are
all competing against each other!
How to win?
It's a race.
When
another player completes a level, a message will appear on your screen saying:
"¡[Name] completed Level X!". This helps you know if you are winning.
The final goal
is to be the first to conquer LEVEL 10. Whoever achieves it first will be crowned
as the Supreme Tournament Winner.
3. Unique Template: Your tool to win
To beat the others, you must understand the secret of Sudoku Kolor:
There is ONLY ONE
ORIGINAL TEMPLATE hidden. It's not enough for the numbers not to repeat; they have to
match that master template.
4. Hints and Strategy
Hints: You have 3, use them wisely.
When they run out: You must
use your logic. If you place a number and the game allows it, good! But remember: it's only correct
if it matches the unique template.
5. The Alerts (Your guide to success)
The game will alert you when you have found the correct solution for a part of the board. Look at
this:
- ROW COMPLETED ALERT:
If you fill an entire
horizontal line with the correct numbers, a sign will appear saying "Row
Completed!".
(Note: If you fill
the row and the alert DOES NOT appear, something is wrong, even if the numbers seem
fine).
- COLUMN COMPLETED ALERT:
The same happens if you
complete a vertical line correctly. The alert will appear!
- BLOCK COMPLETED ALERT:
If you complete one of the large 9-cell squares, it
will say "Block Completed!". That's excellent!

LEVEL COMPLETED ALERT:
When you fill the ENTIRE board correctly, a big
LEVEL COMPLETE! sign will appear and you will automatically move to the next
challenge.
6. Use your Memory to Win
When trying combinations, your memory is key.
You'll have to remember what
numbers you tried and where. "If 4 didn't work here, then it must go there". Making these mental
combinations until the "Correct" alert appears is what will lead you to victory.
7. Attempts Limit
Keep in mind that you have 5 failed attempts allowed per level. Play calmly and
verify well before placing a number to avoid losing points.
8. Restarting the Game
If you press "New Game", you will start from 0 but with the
SAME BOARD template. In a tournament, the puzzle never changes to ensure fair play
for everyone.
